EthnoMuse: multimedia digital archive of Slovenian folk music and folk dance culture

The goal of the EthnoMuse project is to build upon Institute’s existing digital archive and enable the development of multimedia applications. The aim is: - preservation of original and digital materials, - optimization of the process of collection and manipulation of multimedia materials (conversion from analog to digital and manipulation of digital materials), - semantic integration of archive's contents, - multimedia presentation of the contents, - advancement in e-learning and interdisciplinary research, and - integration of Slovenian cultural heritage into a wider European context.
