The concert of Ukrainian ensemble of traditional music Babski Kozachok, the workshop on Ukrainian traditional singing and the exhibition of Ukrainian landscape photographer Andrii Chuiashenko

We invite you to events dedicated to Ukrainian culture and tradition.

On 11.07.2023 at 19:00 at Atrij ZRC, a concert of the ensemble of Ukrainian traditional music Babski Kozachok will take place. You will hear the ancient rural musical tradition of the North and Center of Ukraine, performed by its collectors and researchers. The songs of the summer cycle will be performed – rusalni, kupalski, harvest songs, as well as lyrical, soldier songs and songs accompanying the wedding ritual cycle. The performers are Iryna Klymenko (Dr. of Arts, prof. of Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music (Kyiv), head of the ethnomusicology laboratory, singer), Olena Honcharenko (Dr. of Arts, leacturer, researcher of musical folklore and a singer), Oleksandr Kropyvnyi (postgraduate student at Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music).

On July 12, 2023, from 18:00 to 20:00 at Atrij ZRC, Iryna Klymenko and Olena Honcharenko will hold a workshop on Ukrainian traditional polyphonic singing.

During the days of the concert and workshop, an exhibition of summer landscape photos of Ukrainian landscapes by photographer Andrii Chuiashenko will be held in Atrij ZRC.
