SCHOLA: Mentoring for Educators to Evaluate Volunteering


The project is focused on examining the creation of tools and approaches for professionals and teachers in schools as well as for educators outside educational institutions in order to identify and evaluate the skills and competencies that young people gain with volunteering. The project centers on young people who have problems in school or have dropped out of school, and assesses their volunteer experience related to the skills and competencies that are normally acquired in school. The project's research is conducted in countries where extra-curricular and non-formal learning are often valued, (France and Belgium) as well as in countries where formal learning is still the main reference for the assessment and evaluation of the students' performance (Poland, Italy and Slovenia).
